Most one night stands you'd rather forget. This song's about a one night stand I will lovingly remember for the rest of my life. A one night stand that actually turned into a short-lived romantic affair.

That first night, we had a little discussion wherein we both agreed this was a no-strings-attached, one night thing so I flippantly said: "Well, if I never see you again, at least you'll be good for a song." The moment I said it - I knew I was going to rush to my guitar first thing the following morning. The rest, as they say, is history.

Pay attention to Theo Sunny Abellard's gorgeous work on both acoustic piano (so vulnerable) and the organ (so driving) and also our very special guest back-up singer, Lily Lanken. To have someone from the McGarrigle/Wainwright/Lanken family is nothing short of an honor. Her harmonies truly bring out the haunting quality of the song.
